An end-of-life vehicle is a vehicle that has become waste, triggering vehicle treatment, depollution, dismantling, reuse, recycling, recovery, and disposal obligations.
Implementation records should capture vehicle identity, waste-status decision, handover date, treatment facility, certificate records, depollution steps, dismantling information, reuse/recycling/recovery route, and final evidence links.
For automotive customers, end-of-life vehicle records should connect the physical vehicle to treatment and certificate evidence so reuse, recycling, critical-material recovery, and battery end-of-life claims are auditable.
